In a nutshell: The data from the quadruple Down’s syndrome screening tests of 342 obstetric patients from a single clinic were retrospecively reviewed to determine if the quad screen could predict other adverse perinatal outcomes (APO) in high risk obstetric patients.  The results showed that the risk of having an APO increased significantly for patients with abnormal markers by approximately three-fold using Receiver Operator Characteristic and two-fold using First and Second Trimester Evaluation of Risk (FASTER) trial thresholds.
